For Microdermabrasion like
results we suggest Dermaplaning+Deluxe Facial

Microderm works by removing the top layer of the epidermis. Dermaplaning does the same thing while also removing any peach fuzz.
We are confident that this service paired with our deluxe facial will leave you with a brighter smoother complexion.
For Hydrofacial like results, we suggest Dermaplaining + Chemical Peel Level 1.
$165 Total

Hydrofacials work by manually exfoliating the skin along with a light chemical peel finished with hydrating serums.
Dermaplaning will manually remove the top layer of dead skin cells. Next we will apply a light chemical peel. When done after dermaplaning, the peel will penetrate deeper into the skin. Finally a hydrating serum is applied which results in the skin feeling refreshed, hydrated and glowing with minimal down time.

A note about "Hydro" versus "Hydra" facials:
"Hydrafacial" is a specific

Acne:

The most common types of acne include comedonal acne (blackheads and whiteheads), inflammatory acne (red, tender bumps with pus), and cystic acne (painful nodules leading to potential scarring). Inflammatory acne occurs when the contents of a clogged pore spread, triggering a white blood cell response and causing inflammation. Irritated acne is often caused by external factors like harsh skincare products, comedogenic makeup, or even hair products, leading to skin irritation and inflammation
Hormonal Acne is another common type of Acne. Hormones are the primary trigger for most acne, especially for women experiencing breakouts along the jawline and chin during their menstrual cycle. Hormonal fluctuations, including those associated with puberty, pregnancy, birth control changes, and menopause, can significantly influence androgen levels. Increased androgen production stimulates oil glands to produce excess sebum, which combines with dead skin cells and bacteria within pores, ultimately leading to the formation of pimples.
Diet
Acne Causing Foods to avoid.
Dietary factors, particularly those with a high glycemic load, such as sugary foods, refined carbohydrates, and dairy products, may contribute to acne breakouts in some individuals. Consuming a low glycemic load diet, which emphasizes whole, unprocessed foods, may help reduce acne severity. While not directly causing acne, these foods can trigger an inflammatory response in some individuals, contributing to worsened breakouts.
Foods that help prevent acne.
A diet rich in vitamins A, C, E, zinc, and probiotics, found in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fermented foods, nourishes the skin from within by supporting collagen production, antioxidant protection, and gut health. Turmeric, with its anti-inflammatory properties, can help soothe skin irritation and redness associated with acne. Consuming complex carbohydrates from whole grains, fruits, and vegetables provides sustained energy and regulates blood sugar levels, minimizing hormonal fluctuations that can trigger acne breakouts.
Reason Your Acne gets worse
What not to do
Frequent changes to your skincare routine, over-washing your face, and picking at pimples can all worsen acne. It's crucial to be patient with skincare products, allowing 6-8 weeks for results before switching. Maintaining good hygiene practices, such as frequent pillowcase changes and using non-comedogenic(Make a wiki link to this definition) products, is essential. Finally, avoid over-drying your skin, as dryness can irritate and worsen acne breakouts.
Stress
While stress doesn't directly cause acne, it can significantly worsen existing breakouts, increasing cortisol levels leading to increased oil production which can clog pores and worsen acne. It also increases inflammation in the skin, hindering healing and potentially leading to longer-lasting and more severe breakouts. Additionally, stress can exacerbate unhealthy behaviors like picking at pimples, which can worsen inflammation, spread infection, and increase the risk of scarring.
Acne Treatment Recommendations
Our treatment recommendations for you if you are struggling with acne, is to start with our classic facial. We will customize this specifically to treat your acne. We need to see how your skin reacts to the products we use. Then for your second treatment I would recommend doing a light peel and working your way up to a medium depth peel. This will help target your acne beneath the surface of the skin and unclog pores, reduce bacteria, improve skin texture and reduce inflammation and acne scars.
Anti Aging:
What happens to the skin with age?

Collagen
Collagen production naturally declines with age, starting in our mid-20s and accelerating after 40. Factors like stress, a high-sugar diet, sun exposure, alcohol consumption, and smoking significantly accelerate collagen breakdown, leading to premature aging and wrinkles.

To boost collagen production and preserve skin health, prioritize hydration, supplement with hyaluronic acid and vitamin C, ensure adequate sleep, and protect your skin from environmental stressors through diligent skincare and daily sunscreen use. Aging is inevitable, but by addressing these factors and incorporating healthy lifestyle habits, you can significantly slow down the aging process and maintain youthful-looking skin.
Aging Treatment Recommendations
Our treatment recommendations for you are to start with our classic facial. We will customize this specifically to target fine lines and wrinkles. We need to see how your skin reacts to the products we use. Then for your second treatment or if you are accustomed to getting facials I would recommend doing a light peel and working your way up to a medium depth peel. This will promote cell turnover and stimulate collagen production. Making the skin more plump and youthful, it will also help with a more bright, smooth and even skin tone.
Hyperpigmentation:
Different types of of hyperpigmentation

Common causes
Hyperpigmentation is caused by excess melanin production, which can arise from various factors including sun exposure, hormonal changes, and inflammation. This discoloration can be challenging to treat, and success depends on the individual's skin type and their commitment to diligent sun protection.
Home Treatment & Prevention
Treatment options may include topical treatments like hydroquinone and kojic acid, chemical peels, laser treatments and a consistent skincare routine, always prioritizing sun avoidance during treatment.
Hyperpigmentation Facial Treatment Recommendations
Our treatment recommendations for you are to start with our classic facial. We will customize this specifically to target your hyperpigmentation. We need to see how your skin reacts to the products we use. Then for your second treatment or if you are accustomed to getting facials I would recommend doing a light chemical peel and a dermaplane add on. Dermaplaning will remove dull dead skin on the surface while chemical peel works in the layer of your skin to target hyperpigmentation and promote cell turnover. Resulting in a more radiant luminous complexion.
